Metal crafts technique

The first is the design process. In the beginning of the production of metal crafts, first of all, a designer with design experience and artistic attainments is required to design according to the needs and requirements of customers, and provide design drawings and samples. Designers must understand the characteristics of the metal and processing technology, taking into account the practicality and aesthetics of the products, design products that meet the requirements.
The second stage is to make samples. After the design is completed, a sample needs to be made for testing and confirmation. The production of samples is mainly through prototyping, which mainly includes cutting, molding, welding, brazing, polishing and other processes. The produced sample needs to be modified and adjusted several times until it reaches the level of customer satisfaction.
The third stage is prototyping. When the sample design is completed and approved by the customer, the prototype needs to be made. The purpose of prototyping is to verify product quality and process flow prior to mass production. A variety of materials are used in prototyping, such as wood, soil, resin, etc. By making prototypes,  can better understand the production difficulty and process flow of the product.
The fourth stage is processing. After the prototype is completed, the metal needs to be cut and processed. This process needs to be carried out according to the design drawings and samples. Workers will choose the appropriate metal materials according to the design requirements and carry out cutting, mold making, molding and other processes to make various parts of metal crafts.
The fifth stage is assembly. After the metal parts are processed, each part needs to be assembled. The assembly work requires meticulousness and patience to ensure that the location and connections of each part meet the design requirements. For large metal artifacts, brazing or welding techniques may be required to connect them.
The sixth stage is polishing. In the production process of metal crafts, grinding is a very important link. Sanding makes the surface of the metal smooth and bright, and removes surface burrs and blemishes. In the grinding process, various sandpaper and grinding machinery are needed to polish the metal according to the requirements, so that the metal surface looks smoother and softer.
The post-Z stage is glazing. After grinding, the metal can be polished. Glazing can make the metal surface more smooth and shiny, improve the aesthetic and texture of metal crafts. In the process of glazing, it is necessary to use special tools and materials, and operate in accordance with certain processes and steps to achieve the best results.

Crystal Crafts Technique

1.      Ore mining: After selecting the ore, mining the ore is carried out. The main purpose of ore mining is to obtain sufficient raw materials and ensure that the extracted ore is of good quality.
2.      Grinding and cutting: The mined ore is ground and cut to obtain the required shape and size. Grinding and cutting are the core links of crystal crafts production, requiring artisans to have superb skills and experience.
3.      Engraving and inlaying: According to product design requirements and market demand, the researched water products are carved and inlaying. The engraving technique is highly demanding and can carve out a variety of complex patterns and textures, while the inlay requires the metal or other materials fix the crystal to the base.
4.      Polishing and grinding: polishing and grinding the crystal that has been carved and inlaid to make its surface smooth and delicate. The purpose of polishing and grinding is to increase the ornamental and service life of crystal crafts.
5.      Cleaning and drying: After polishing and grinding, the crystal crafts are cleaned and dried to remove dirt and residue and maintain the cleanliness of the product.
